I quite like the percussion, I've never thought of trying half of what you have going on here. I love how you used tempo changes, but the key changes were slightly unexpected. Also, some of the notes felt off. (I could be wrong, but somethings in there struck me as being "weird"/dissonant.) A notable example would be at 3:53, the longer/held note there seems off to me.

Overall the track is reasonably well made, mixed, and mastered. It wasn't the most memorable, nor did it specifically appeal to me, but it's a decent track none-the-less.

Thanks for the review!

Lemme break down the key changes real quick:
- The first key change occurs right before the drop. It's pretty much the same change that occurs in the track Despair in Gates to Infinity, minus the Bb major chord. But if you've heard the original track Within the Sadness (or maybe even if you haven't), your ears will tend to hear/anticipate that Bb resolve even when, in my remix, it's not there. So the Bb major to Ab minor becomes smoother that way.
- After the drop, the piece resolves in E minor. That's the last chord played in the drop, so I don't see a problem there :/
- I don't hear any "weird"/dissonant things going on at 3:53. That note is a Bb, played with a Gm chord.
- Then, the piece transitions to F minor. This shouldn't be a huge problem either, since the previous section ended on the chord of F minor, and that trick has worked quite well in the past (and in the original).

My last question is, have you heard the original? :/ Thanks for feedback!

This feels well mixed and is relatively enjoyable. All of your instruments seem to mesh nicely and everything seems in tune. The mastering is also well done. Composition wise it does feel a bit lacking. There's enough unique elements and variation to keep it interesting, but it fails to keep me invested in it for the full 4.5 min length. The bassline/general theme is fantastic, but there needs to be some sort of significant melodic/rhythmic variations in it to keep it fresh.

Overall, very well made; just needs a little something else to keep the listeners attention.

I make somewhat decent music on a somewhat regular basis. I use FL and a bunch of VSTs/Soundfonts I've collected over the last few years. I'm not the best at composing, or arranging, or mixing,or mastering. I like to consider my tracks to be "jammy".
